Withering Leaves

O withering leaves of autumn,

don't fly away come back to me.

I know, you won't return once gone,

and won't let me follow you

Haven't spent much time together,

I need more time to do so

O withering leaves of autumn,

don't fly away come back to me.

I know you have to go one day,

but the day would come so soon,

this, I did not know.

Come back to me, I love you dearly.

O hear, I plead you to do.

O withering leaves of autumn,

don't fly away come back to me.

O wind of power, of speed and cruel

leave my leaves, don't take them away.

Leave us for some more time, together.

I plead to you, let me collect

my withering leaves of autumn.

O withering leaves of autumn

don't fly away come back to me.

Like coarse grains of sand.

Slipped away my leaves.

Which, with love, had I treasured since days.

In a glimpse, disappeared,

to never come back again

O withering leaves of autumn

Alas! you'll never be back again.
