Lying neglected in the closet so deep

I knew my day would come soon

when I get to shine in the bright sunlight

when I get to smell the fresh air 

I knew you would come to me 

I lie in a corner of your heart 

Not significant now

There was no dear and near

Whose hands escaped me

And yes, you kissed me

Of us together

Flooding across the social media

It must be coming back to you frequently

Desperately Shuffling through the shelf

One look at me, and you despair

Oh how I changed through the years

No worries now

I'm here and you are near

We will make it together

This bond shall last forever.

Its a slippery edge up there

When you are on cloud nine
One little twist
And off you fall
From the sky to deep down below

They give you wings

You perch on the highest twig

In a blow

the twig breaks

and off you are on the ground

The delicate piece

of crystal glass

Enigma of beauty when held high

One twist of hand

and next moment its shattered to pieces

Such are expectations!!

As high as the cloud nine

The joy of the highest branch

The beauty of the crystal glass

Slippery as the edge
Risky as the delicate twig
And painful as the broken glass
